Our extensive fabric options come with manufacturer warranties—typically 5, 8, or 10 years. In addition, we guarantee our frames and installation. We want you to feel confident in your selection of a professional awning and canopy provider.

Fabric Selections
We have thousands of options when it comes to your fabric selection. Stop by our store and see some of the material we have on stock. Or ask to see a sample book. Our biggest fabric suppliers are Sunbrella Fabrics, Trivantage Fabrics, and Keystone Fabrics. Each company’s website has images of their fabrics available, as well as some samples of awnings, shade sails, and other materials that we can make for you.

Warranty Information
Fabric Warranties*:
Standard Sunbrella fabric has a 10-year limited warranty
Sunbrella Exceed flame-retardant fabric has a 5-year limited warranty
Sunbrella Awning Braid has a 5-year limited warranty
Awntex 70/160 screen mesh (70%/89.5% Sunblock) has a 5-year warranty
Commercial 95FR sail mesh has a 10-year warranty
Serge Ferrari proof 502 vinyl has a 10-year warranty
Sattler 745 Fire Retardant vinyl has an 8-year warranty
* Warranties are pro-rated based on purchase date. Please note: Fabric is only part of each entire order. If the manufacturer determines that your fabric failed prematurely, the warranty only covers the cost of the fabric–not labor and installation costs.
Installation Warranty:
All products installed by Bay Area Canvas are backed up by a 3-Year Warranty against any premature hardware failure. All seams carry a three-year warranty, unless we did not use Tenara thread, which is our thread of choice.
Hardware Warranties:
All welded frames created by Bay Area Canvas are covered under a 10-Year Warranty.
Solair and Somfy offer end-product suppliers a 5-year warranty on all parts (motors, controls,and frames). Specifically, Solair & Somfy warrant their motors and controls to be free fromdefects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of 5 years.
